Typically
there are four phases of work
involved in custom millwork. The first is an initial visit to your
home where the project concept,
budget and alternatives are discussed. This is followed by a design phase
during which the project's preliminary design is established based on your
criteria, the type of materials selected (i.e., domestic or exotic
lumber, paint grade, etc.) and construction techniques.
It is during this phase that Prestige will provide project pricing and
estimated time to completion. The design, pricing and delivery
timeframe is then reviewed with you for your approval and acceptance prior
to construction. The third phase of work involves off-site construction
followed by on-site installation. Most
projects take an average of four to six weeks
depending on complexity.
